Scout Camporee at Flint Creek

We had a great time at Flint Creek with the Scouts from our Stake. The boys had the opportunity to cook their own dinners and breakfasts as part of their requirements for the First Class rank. They also were able to work on merit badges such as fishing, canoeing, motorboating, and first aid. Thanks to everyone who came and supported us on this trip!

Scout Camp

We had two great and very successful camps this summer, one near Hattiesburg and one on Cat Island. Stay tuned for some pictures and video of our adventures!

Campout This Weekend

We had a wonderful campout this weekend at the Grover farm near Columbia. The scouts got to play in the stream, swing on a giant rope swing, and sail across the sky on a zip line. Saturday morning we went to red bluff and got real dirty climbing around (and sometimes falling) in the dirt before packing up our stuff and heading over to the location where our big summer camp is going to be in a week. The camp looked great and we are excited to participate. Thanks to the Grovers for letting us stay at their farm, the dads for coming out to support us and Brother Sones for the delicious sausage we ate for breakfast!
